Titled “Researching and Reframing the New York Graphic Workshop: Methodology, Challenges, and Curatorial Perspectives,” this talk by art historian Ursula Davila-Villa will explore the research and curatorial process behind the exhibition The New York Graphic Workshop (2008–09), which she co-curated at the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin from. Focusing on the methodological questions, practical challenges, and interpretive decisions that shaped the project, the talk will reflect on what it meant to research and exhibit an artistic movement whose historical significance had yet to be fully recognized or contextualized.
